Mrs. Buesing (school counselor) needs volunteers to retrieve food bags from Reston. Pickup is biweekly on Wednesdays at 11:15am at the below location. Volunteers need to have enough space in their vehicle for 12 rectangular 66-quart plastic storage bins (each bin contains 10 grocery bags full of nonperishable items). Student Snack Donations

Cub Run needs your help.

The PTA would like to ensure ALL kids at school can have a snack if they need one or forgot their snack at home. Without your help, teachers will buy snacks for their students out of their own pockets.
Please sign up for a slot or multiple slots and send in snacks directly to the school using the Amazon wish list below or drop off snacks yourself on the first available day the week you pick.

Volunteer!

Volunteering at Cub Run Elementary School is a wonderful way to support your child’s education and engage with the school community.
— Daniel & Stephanie (Volunteer Coordinators)

According to the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Research and Improvement, students are more likely to get good grades if their parents have participated in at least one activity at their school in the last year.

It takes many hands to run all our events and activities. You can volunteer for small projects, one-time activities, large projects, or year-round. It’s up to you, your schedule, and your comfort level.

We ask that each parent or caregiver consider volunteering three hours of time per year at our school. We call this the “Volunteer 3” program.

Fill out the form below to be added to the volunteer list. Our volunteer coordinators will be in contact as need arises.
